Composite Flat Panels

NORDAM manufactures flat panels for virtually all aircraft applications: flooring, bulkheads, walls, galleys, cabin dividers, stowage modules, compartments, cabinetry construction, and more.

Our versatility in flat panel construction shows in the variety of material combinations we use, sandwiching core materials such as Nomex® ,aluminum, foam, and end-grain bulsa between skins of fiberglass, Kevlar®, carbon fiber or aluminum alloy.

Cabin Windows

Wingtip and Landing Light Lenses

The patented NORSTAR® lens is a stronger, longer-lasting solution to the costly problem of short service life. NORSTAR® lenses feature a durable two-ply design with a polycarbonate inner substrate and a hard acrylic outer surface.

The NORSTAR® design helps reduce surface cracks that result from lamp heat-induced stress. The tough acrylic outer "shell" also eliminates the need for chemical hard coatings. NORSTAR® lenses are available for a wide variety of aircraft - in stock and ready to ship.

Radomes

The impact-resistant, moisture proof WeatherMASTER® is the toughest, hardest-working, longest-lasting radome in the industry. Patented WeatherMASTER technology replaces conventional honeycomb and fluted coring with CMN2000 - a rigid, PVC closed-cell foam material.

This closed-cell construction virtually eliminates moisture-intrusion and moisture-propagation - the number one cause of damage to conventional radomes. Plus, WeatherMASTER's closed-cell structure gives you 45% more impact resistance, offering an extra measure of protection to the sensitive, costly electronics inside the radome.

WeatherMASTER meets or exceeds the Minimal Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) for predictive windshear radar systems. WeatherMASTER also helps to maintain windshear prediction capabilities over a longer time.

Every outbound NORDAM radome must pass through transmissivity-testing and certification before it leaves our plant. Your WeatherMASTER radome arrives ready to install and ready to fly - with all required documentation attached.

Available only from NORDAM, WeatherMASTER is certified for a large number of commercial, regional, and military aircraft.
